Most of all people find volunteering very rewarding and gain great satisfaction from taking on a role that can benefit others.
Volunteering Roles
Here are some examples of the types of volunteering opportunities that we offer:
Admin Work
Assisting with Art, Craft, Walking, Gardening and Book Club activities
Helping with, or leading on, the running of projects and clubs for Carers
Awareness Raising
Being involved in activities that help to raise the profile of Carer Support Wiltshire, and of the issues important to Carers by...
Befriending
Providing one-to-one support to a Carer feeling isolated by their caring role.
Complementary Therapies
To provide complementary therapies, or beauty treatments, to Carers either at a Carers Centre or in a local venue.
Driving
Transporting Carers to and from activities organised by Carer Support Wiltshire.
Fundraising
Helping to plan, and participate in, a variety of fundraising activities.
Trustee
Being part of our Board of Trustees involved in the governance of Carer Support Wiltshire.
