Wiltshire Carers Strategy 2012-2014
The Wiltshire Carers Action Group is the strategic planning group for the development of new and existing services that support unpaid carers in Wiltshire. The Carers Strategy for the county has just been refreshed and we would welcome your comments on the document which will inform the 
carers action plan 143kb in the autumn of 2012.

Carers Focus Groups: Have your say
There are currently 4 Focus Groups that meet in Semington, Devizes Chippenham and Salisbury which are facilitated by our Development Workers.
Members have input into local and national strategies and consultations that impact on Carers. They also bring up concerns that need addressing and affect local policies through feedback and attending other groups.
Fancy coming along?
We are always looking for new Carers to join our Focus Groups. It is ideal to have carers in the groups who have a wide range of experiences of caring for people with different needs.
There is an expense form for travel expenses and your time and you can also claim if you incur additional care costs to enable you to attend. Should transport be a difficulty we can arrange a lift if you could contact us beforehand please. There is no obligation to come to all meetings what so ever and some members come regularly whilst others opt to come only very occasionally.
Feel free to contact us with any matters you’d like to be brought forward to the groups, even if you are unable to attend yourself. To find out more, or to express your interest in attending, please contact us.
