This is an interesting time for carers. New rights for carers in England will be coming into effect from April 2015 as a result of the Care Act 2014.

Challenge and raise your questions about Carers Rights to our panel at this free event as part of Carers Rights Day.

On the panel:

  • Fergus Arkley from Carers Trust
  • James Cawley, Director of Adult Care from Wiltshire Council
  • Sarah Cardy from Wiltshire Citizen’s Advice
  • Solicitors from Awdry, Bailey & Douglas
  • Emma Cooper from Healthwatch Wiltshire

Come along and join in with the debate!

We have also invited local MPs, representatives from AWP and the hospital trusts so that you have a good opportunity to speak to the people who can influence rights for carers in Wiltshire.

Got a burning question to ask?

Questions for this event will be selected from questions sent in by carers. If you have a question, please send an email to [email protected] before the event takes place. You can also submit a question if you are unable to attend and we can ask it on your behalf.
