Swap and show your support for carers

Swap shoes with someone, or pimp up your trainers and show your support for carers in Wiltshire by walking a mile on Sunday 12th June 2016.
One in 10 of us is a carer and three in five of us will become one at some point in our lives. It can happen at any time and the consequences are huge. Many who find themselves carers have to give up employment or university and face financial hardship and limited opportunities for breaks or holidays.
So put your best foot forward and join us for this year’s walk to show your support for the 47,000 carers in Wiltshire and help us to raise lots of money to support even more.
Do it as a group, with work colleagues, friends and family - the more the merrier. Everybody is welcome and this year we will be joining the Family Fun Day at John Coles Park in Chippenham where there will be stalls, activities and refreshments for all the family.
Registration is £10 per adult and £5 for under 12s. Once registered you will receive an event t-shirt. It doesn’t matter if you raise £20 or £200 - every little helps us to make a real difference to those that need it.
