Wiltshire Council & NHS Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group
Our major funders are Wiltshire Council and the Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) who provide us with a pooled budget enabling us to provide our core support services – advice, information and support.
This funding enables us to: develop future services, deliver the GP Investors in Carers scheme and carry out involvement work listening to carers’ views.
Through this pooled budget we can provide Carer Assessments, work with volunteers, training opportunities, time out breaks and the Breaks Prescription Scheme.
Big Lottery
A Big Lottery Fund grant has provided the funding to develop our website, and therefore to reach more carers.
It has also enabled us to recruit and train more volunteers to help in various roles throughout the organisation.
We also receive some funding through local town and parish councils which helps us to develop services which we would not otherwise be able to.
