National News: The Care Quality Commission’s plans to transform social care inspections

Following the footage captured and broadcast by BBC Panorama of the mistreatment of elderly residents at the old Deanery Care Home in Braintree, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are planning a new inspection regime.

Local News: New clinics in Wiltshire to help children with mental health problems

A new social enterprise called Families Inc has launched in Wiltshire. They will be offering clinics that cover a number of concerns including ADHD, anxiety, stress, mood, behavioural problems and eating difficulties in children and young people up to the age of 25.

Local News: Wiltshire Council vows to take action over continence pads

A “shocking” report has found that people have not been given a choice of continence pads and many have been limited to only four a day. Wiltshire Council have vowed to take action to improve continence services.
