Musicians and Entertainers wanted for a family picnic in the park

Do you love to entertain? Whether you like strumming your guitar and singing along, can do a few magic tricks, or have some circus skills, we need YOU!

Carer Support Wiltshire are organising a sponsored walk on Saturday 13 June 2015 which will end in Monkton Park, Chippenham. After the walk is finished, we are inviting carers and their families to come along and enjoy a big picnic in the park. But what’s a summer picnic without a little entertainment?

We would love to hear from anyone who enjoys open mic sessions or playing to a crowd.

In return, we can offer two things:

  • Free publicity: Both at the event itself and in the lead-up. We will mention you on our social media, website and weekly e-news. It’s also likely you’ll get a shout-out in any coverage we have through local press.
  • Lots of good karma (guaranteed!): You will be providing your services for a Wiltshire charity that helps to support the thousands of unpaid carers in the county. Many carers don’t get the opportunity to take a break but this event will give some of them the opportunity to socialise, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a picnic in the park.

If you would like to take part, please drop us an email or get in touch with Julie Jackson, Events Co-ordinator, on 01380 871690.

      Hi there,

We are a group of performers from Wiltshire that specialise in fire performance. We would love to be involved!

We have fire hula hoop, fire breathing, fire poi, body burning, fire fans, and much more to offer.

If this is of any interest, we’d love to hear back.

      Many Thanks.

      Laura

        Hi Laura,

Thanks for getting in touch! This has been passed to Julie, our Events Co-ordinator, who will be in touch.
