Fundraising Development Manager - £36,019 starting salary

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Development Manager to lead a small team of marketing and communications professionals to help us respond to the growing numbers of carers coming forward for support while raising the profile of caring and the incredible contribution it makes to our communities in Wiltshire.

You are:

  • An experienced fundraising professional, possibly on your third or fourth job.
  • A strong warm communicator who has an empathy with or an understanding of caring and how it affects wider society.
  • Able to deliver a strategic approach to fundraising with strong business skills. A skilled number-cruncher, you are able to mine databases for the evidence to back applications, support donor retention and research and cultivate prospects. You achieve set targets, motivated by our shared vision of creating a caring county.

You have extensive experience of:

  • building and nurturing new donor relationships with corporates and individual major donors
  • trusts and foundations fundraising
  • community fundraising

With strong communications and marketing backing you, you will build compelling cases for support.

Outward-facing, you identify opportunities for organisational development and forge strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally.

Support Worker (Military)

Carer Support Wiltshire is recruiting to the role of full time support worker with extra responsibility for military carers. This varied role is key to ensuring that unpaid carers receive the right, information, advice and support. You will need to have proven experience of supporting people in the community, along with strong knowledge of issues affecting those unpaid carers who provide additional support to people with care and support needs who have served, or, are serving in the military. This role will also include supporting carers who have served, or, are serving in the military.
